Tips How to Make Extra Money at Home

Tips How to Make Extra Money at Home
blogger.com logo

Some ways for you to be able to earn extra, even when you are in the comforts of your home.

  • Find time. It is impossible for you to work extra hours in front of the computer, whether at home or someplace else, if you do not have that extra time. Before deciding on wanting to have more, you will need to commit at least two hours of your time each day to work. When you have found the time, dedicate yourself to sticking with it. Think of your online job as something that is comparable to your day job and do not take it lightly.
  • Sell what you are capable of doing. Just like anything else in the world, you cannot give what you do not have. You cannot do something that you do not know anything about. Before going on to work for that extra something at home, know what you are capable of doing. If you are good at data entry, look for freelance websites which may offer data entry jobs. If   your expertise is article writing or blogging, apply for jobs that need an article writer. If you are good at baking or cooking, create your specialties at home and sell them to your friends. They may be able to refer you to other friends as well.
  • Build your own online business. If your edge is on writing and blogging, you may want to consider setting up your own blog. You will need to buy a domain name and a web host to do this but creating a blog on a free web host like wordpress or blogger.com may also be an option. You can start earning through your blog by writing about the topics or subjects that catch your interest. This may take a longer time- like a few months- until your blog gets noticed by other bloggers or surfers. People you attract through the articles will want to run advertisements on your blog, or partner with you to advertise their products and ask you to write for them. They may even sell downloadable products on your blog and give you a portion of it.

Acer Iconia W510 review

Although the Acer Iconia W700 is the powerhouse of Acer's Windows 8 tablet range, the Iconia W510 is surely what Acer will sell more of. It'll be available in a 3G version as well as Wi-Fi only.

The W510 is an Asus Transformer-like 10.1-incher, so there's a detachable keyboard dock.

Like the Asus Vivo Tab and Lenovo Thinkpad Tablet 2, the W510 is set to occupy a lower market position than the Core i5 and i7-based W700 – both the Vivo and W510 feature a new Clover Trail-generation Intel Atom processor.

Given the poor performance of past Atom-based outings, we're hoping that Clover Trail can really turn around Atom's relatively bad reputation.

The tablet is a lovely bit of design. It's around 600g – final specification will dictate fluctuations here – so a little lighter than the 652g iPad 3 – while it's a mere 8.8mm thick.

There's Dolby Home Theater-powered sound and stereo speakers on one side, a Micro HDMI port for connectivity to an external display plus a Micro SD port to add an extra 32GB of memory to the existing 64GB on the other. You'll also notice a Micro USB port.
Internally, there's also a TPM chip so companies can remotely manage it as part of their network. Expect this on many other new Intel-based Windows 8 tablets as well.

There is, however, one noticeable flaw – it's quite hard to tap the Windows Start button on the bottom of the device because the bezel is so close to it.

The screen is reasonably crisp, but not the best we've seen – we're only looking at 1,366 x 768 for a resolution, too.

The keyboard dock extends the battery life up to 18 hours and can also be rotated 275 degrees backwards, so you can use it as a stand for viewing video or presentations.
